When I was locked up, we had church on Wednesday nights and every emotion I've ever locked away inside myself flooded out. I've been homeless, I attempted suicide, I was addicted to heroin and alcohol and they drove me to choices that weren't really who I was. I know that God never left me, I left him and all he wants is us to come back. He's patient and he loves us all no matter what.
